We would like to thank everyone who took the time to participate, vote, and left feedback in the McAdam Park Playground survey to let us know which play option you wanted to see built. Keep an eye on the City of Duncan's social media accounts to find out when the new playground will be opening.
The City of Duncan is thrilled to bring a world of fun to McAdam Park with a brand-new playground designed for all ages and abilities. This exciting project aims to create an inclusive and accessible play space where every child can play, learn, and grow together in a vibrant, safe, and enjoyable environment.
To ensure the playground meets the community's needs and desires, we want to hear from you! The city has received several outstanding proposals from experienced playground designers, each offering unique features and innovative ideas. Now, it's your turn to help shape this important addition to McAdam Park.
The new playground, located at the eastside of McAdam Park at the end of Beech Avenue, will include various elements for everyone to enjoy, such as two playgrounds (a large one for older kids and a smaller one for younger children), a new swing set, and a fun accessible play area. Before construction begins, we need your input on what kind of small playground (ages 2-5) and large playground (ages 5-12) you prefer and why you believe it's the best choice.
Click on the MCADAM PARK PLAYGROUND PROPOSALS button at the bottom of the menu to the right to explore the small and large playground proposals and share your thoughts by participating in the survey found below. Let us know what you think is the best playground and why. Specific colours will be chosen before ordering the play equipment, let us know in the survey what colours you think would be the best.
Your feedback is important in helping the city select the best playground proposal that will serve the community for years to come.
Join the City of Duncan in this exciting journey to make McAdam Park a more inclusive and joyful place for all children.
