Centennial Park Play Equipment Replacement Options
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on LinkedinEmail this link
In May 2023, the popular and well-utilized play structure in Centennial Park was destroyed in an unfortunate act of vandalism. Since the fire, the area has been made safe and the spray park along with the remainder of the park have remained open to the public.
Over the past weeks, the City put out a call to play structure equipment suppliers to propose options for a new replacement play structure as well as to include additional play elements that would enhance the overall playground, including broadening accessibility.
While the damage done to the Centennial Park play structure was a terrible loss to the community, we now have an opportunity to build a play structure that will provide new opportunities for play for many years to come.
This is your chance to help us select the best possible replacement option for the Centennial Park play structure.

Option #5 (Red) received the most votes out of all the designs.

The input you provide will be shared with Council to help determine which replacement play structure the City will select for Centennial Park.
